Smaragdia viridis is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Neritidae.[2]

Distribution

Distribution of Smaragdia viridis include the area from the Mediterranean Sea to Caribbean.[3]

Description

The shell is oval, depressed, light green with yellow hue, smooth and shiny. The shell is often with interrupted white or yellow bands or lines. The columellar region is greenish white, broad, convex, margin curved and with fine teeth.[3]

The length of the shell is 7.5 mm.[3]

Ecology

Smaragdia viridis is a marine litoral species.[3]
